Katherine Statsenko is a mixed-media artist working across painting, drawing and printmaking.
Her work reflects inspiration from linear structures of architectural elements, referencing both
interior and exterior forms. She explores the language of negative space, abstract shapes and
patterns found in the built environment. Her compositions often incorporate manipulated
graphic and architectonic grids, expressed through layers and vibrant colors. Katherine received
her BFA from Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia, PA and currently lives and works in
Brooklyn, NY.
